After a brief break from games, the Skyhawks welcomed the Wildcats to FHS with the intent to keep them winless. Coach Cortney / Coach Amanda shared a moment before the game to discuss their respective roads to this showdown and it would end in a blowout contest, with the Skyhawks taking a commanding 19-2 lead at the half. At the half Coach Wiggins explained the importance of staying the course and trusting the process and reassured the players no other games will be this easy and to seize the moment ahead. In the 2nd half the Wildcats would make a valiant effort posting 14-16 effort, capitalizing off errors by the Skyhawks after scaling back on their pressure which dominated the 1st half. With a final of 35-16 the Skyhawks were led by Cara Chivington with 17 pts 1-3 from FT, Emily Baumgardner followed with 8 pts 2-2 from FT.
